We also act as the Mentor Manager for Business Mentors NZ which is a nationwide network of volunteer business mentors.
Locally we have a pool of over 20 very talented, experienced mentors who regularly volunteer their time to assist new and existing businesses. Prior to becoming a mentor all applicants are screened and interviewed. They also are required to attend an Accreditation Training Day and sign a Mentor Agreement Contract which covers potential issues such as conflicts of interest or confidentiality.
Business Mentor Programmes:
The Start Up Mentor Programme: this provides six months of accelerated mentoring for people who have a new business idea or are looking for help in starting a new business.
The General Mentor Programme: which is 12 months of confidential one-on-one advice for owners of small and medium-sized businesses that are currently trading and who want to grow or need help to solve specific business challenges.
Community Mentors: is for not for profit organisations, social enterprise groups, charities (both registered and un-registered) and NGOs based in New Zealand.
