We constantly hear people around us talking about “ sustainability” and “ESG”. We know it’s important, but what does it actually mean for small businesses? What actions should you be taking as a business owner, and will these actually make a difference? Why should you even bother?
The short answer is, because your customers, suppliers, banks and insurance companies increasingly expect you to.
All businesses, including SMEs, need to be able to identify issues that are relevant for them, report on these, and reduce the impacts of their activities. The question is how to go about this?
In this short course Alistair and Beth will take you through what sustainability means to small businesses, the changing approaches business owners will need to take, some of the economics of sustainable choices, and practical steps to implement.
