Basics of Health and Safety Course

Health and Safety is one of the basics of business, yet do we really know what is expected of us as small business owners? Emma Blackburn of Matrix Safety and Health will be going through the basics of H&S, the updated legislation, and what a small business needs to be aware of whether you have a premises and a staff member or you work alone from home, there are some important things you need to be aware of, have thought about, and need to record.

Emma makes this topic simple and manageable and will be covering will be covering all the basics in this course: identifying your risks and how to manage them, the paperwork you need, thinking about emergencies that might arise and how to prepare for them, understanding training and competency requirements and, most importantly, communication and engagement with your team and contractors.
